I have been training dogs for 30 years in obedience/agility and Search and Rescue.  My dog team has worked all over the country and overseas to help close cases of missing people.

I  have trained my dogs plus my team mates and held seminars for other people and their dogs.  I have worked with different police departments plus the FBI and National Children for Missing and

I began search and rescue after 9/11/2011  I certified my first dog in live find and water rescue and my second and third Springers in HRD. I   have two Masters in Criminology/Law Enforcement. I also received a Doctorate in Criminology specializing in Forensic Investigation of Children involved in Human Trafficking.  I was also a Deputy Coroner adjudicating over eight

Cate is a professional dog trainer with over 12 years of experience and has served in Search and Rescue as a K9 handler for the past 10 years. She works with certifed dogs across multiple disciplines, including human remains detection, trailing, and evidence recovery.

I have been in search and rescue for over 24 years and have had canines certified in trailing and HRD.  We have been all over the country teaching at seminars and certifying other teams.  My current K9 is HRD and has had many recoveries.

 I became familiar with HRD work in 2012 when a young lady went missing in Lafayette. I called JaNa Bickel and asked if she knew where I could buy a cadaver dog. She laughed and said Well if you could find one it would be very expensive and then you  would need to be trained.  Retired from teaching in Kentucky and moved back to Texas with my dogs to start HR training and was able to certify my boys. Over the years I have certified with several national organizations in both land and water. I have assisted in seminars in setting up problems and have done certifications. My greatest joy is watching my dog working and seeing the head snap. Helping with
